Single-stage VS two-stage turbine in parallel or in series

The choice largely depends on the required power, size restrictions and application requirements. 

The advantage of the single-stage turbine lies in its compact dimensions making it indicated in cases of low to medium power requirements in a compact vacuum cleaner. 

In all applications where a higher air flow is required, a two-stage turbine in parallel is advisable, providing twice as much air flow as the single-stage turbine. 

Conversely a double-stage turbine in series has similar air flow values as the single-stage turbine but twice as much depression
