It closes this 2017 full of satisfactions for the Biemmedue Spa, a company based in Cherasco, in the province of Cuneo, not far from Turin, Cuneo and Milan, world leader in the professional heating sector with the Arcotherm hot air generator line , industrial cleaning with the Arcomat line and professional dehumidification with the Arcodry line.

A 2017 that saw the start of an expansion project that will give great prestige to the Piedmontese industry, thanks to the opening, just at the beginning of 2018, of a new production plant dedicated to the Arcomat line, which deals with the design and production of the machines for professional cleaning such as high-pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, sweepers, single-brush machines.

 

"At the beginning of this year - explains Marco Costamagna, CEO of Biemmedue, which has always been owned by the Costamagna family - we planned to move the two production sites to Cherasco and in 2017 we worked to adapt the new factory to our production needs , the installation of assembly lines, storage warehouses, etc. .. everything will be completed by the end of the year, so as to be operational at the beginning of 2018 for a total investment, excluding the property, quantifiable at about € 2,000,000. .. Keeping in Cherasco the common functions such as management, administration, sales, etc ... we have been able to create a complete offer in the very competitive sector of industrial cleaning .... To the current 110 employees present at Cherasco, fully operational in the new production site BM2 will be used and then created 40 new jobs in the design, production and logistics ".

The 2017 saw Biemmedue work towards Made in Italy, a component that has always been very strong for this strong Piedmontese reality.

The Biemmedue therefore continues its growth remaining strongly linked to the Territory of origin, the Piedmontese one and, more particularly, that of the Langhe and Roero, which decides to keep as a reference point for its own production and to aim at its development with a new Plant that will bring this Leading Company in heating, cleaning and dehumidification to further grow and continue the development path that allows it to keep pace with the times and to confirm itself more and more as a point of reference for the Italian and international market.

The 2017 was also an important year from the personal point of view for the Managing Director of Biemmedue Marco Costamagna, who became the new president of the General Council of Confindustria Cuneo of the Mechanics section for the next two years 2017/2019.
