BIEMMEDUE presents the new DR 2021 professional dehumidifiers for humidity control in indoor applications

The new DR 2021 BIEMMEDUE dehumidifiers are the result of a demanding and careful cutting-edge and technologically advanced design study, focused on performance, quality, robustness and reliability. These features make DR 2021 flexible both for professional dehumidification, keeping the air dry in residential areas, archives and storage centers, and for drying after water damage.

Highly efficient fans and compressors, combined with new advanced electronic control and control options, contribute to cost-efficient operation and significant energy savings. In addition, the anti-stain rubber wheels and the extendable rear handle make these dehumidifiers easily and comfortably transportable from one room to another, in a simple and practical way.

Even commissioning is designed to be very simple and intuitive: unlike dehumidifiers with analogue operation, with the DR 2021 it is possible to enter the desired humidity value via the practical digital display which, during operation, indicates in real time the humidity and temperature values in the environment, as well as a diagnostic page in which to analyze the malfunctions and parameters of the refrigeration circuit.

ALL MODELS

The number (ex. DR50) represents the amount of condensation water extracted from ambient air expressed in liters in 24 hours under environmental conditions of 32°C and 90% relative humidity.

INNOVATIVE, ELECTRONIC AND ECO-FRIENDLY TECHNOLOGY

DR 2021: GWP AND ENVIRONMENT

The new DR 2021 are designed and built in accordance with the F-gas directive: “Regulation (EU) No 517/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Coun- cil of 16 April 2014 on fluorinated greenhouse gases and repealing Regulation (EC)”. To comply with the new F-gas regulations, the new DR 2021 are equipped with a new ecological refrigerant gas, R454C, with very low GWP values (global warming potential, i.e. the contribution to the greenhouse effect and global warming).

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

The Biemmedue dehumidifiers are stand-alone equipment, which do not require any installation, apart from plugging into the mains. 

DISCOVER THE NEW ELECTRONIC CONTROL

The new and modern electronic control, together with the standard electronic humidistat on all models, optimizes the use of the dehumidifier making it work only when needed. The control panel has been placed in a convenient position and easily accessible by the user, who can set the desired degree of humidity through “soft touch” buttons. During operation, the electronic control displays the current values of humidity and temperature present in the environment, to ensure control over the climatic data of the surrounding environment.

As standard, the electronic control manages two time counts, one resettable and one cumulative: indispensable and practical for rental, several accessory pages and a diagnostic page in which to analyze the malfunctions and parameters of the refrigeration circuit.

THE CHOICE OF THE RIGHT MODEL

CAPACITY

The capacity of a dehumidifier, expressed in liters per 24 hours (l/24h), is the main parameter to consider when choosing the ideal model. In fact, it indicates the amount of water that that particular machine is able to extract from the humid air in the environment in which it works and in 1 day of operation. Through the capacity it is therefore possible to understand the power of the dehumidifier and, at the same time, its efficiency in operation. For example, a dehumidifier with a high capacity is useful for dehumidifying a large room, but also for drying a smaller room in less time. On the contrary, a dehumidifier with lower capacity represents a valid ally for smaller rooms that do not need too powerful machines. All the models of the new Biemmedue demudifiers have been named with the relative maximum capacity value (expressed with a number and calculated in environmental conditions of 32 ° C and 90%).

NECESSARY AIR FLOW

Another essential parameter to consider when choosing a properly sized dehumidifier is the necessary air flow, that is, the amount of air that the machine is able to move in an hour to properly treat the environment in which it operates. To simplify the problem of the choice of model, we can say that that in normal conditions of dehumidification and maintenance, our models may each be installed in a given volume, which could be the following:

• Up to 100 m3 --> DR 80

• From 100 m3 to 200 m3 --> DR 35

• From 200 m3 to 300 m3 --> DR 50

• From 300 m3 to 400 m3 --> DR 70

• From 400 m3 to 550 m3 --> DR 100

SPECIAL APPLICATIONS

On the DR 50 and DR 70 models it is possible to connect an accessory that allows you to send the heated dry air inside cavities. The accessory is equipped with a powerful centrifugal fan that allows you to blow the dry air already dehumidified inside two tubes with a diameter of 100mm up to a length of the same of 6m each (not included in the kit).

On the DR 35, DR 50 and DR 70 models you can remove the tray and connect the condensate extraction pump kit. This accessory allows condensed water to be pumped to a higher level than the environment, where the DR 2021 is installed. The maximum prevalence is 5 m.

Possibility of choosing Dual Voltage models according to the country of destination of the machine (110V - 230V).
