UNI EN 16636: 2015 is the European standard that defines the requirements for the management and control of infestations (pest management) and the skills that must be possessed by professional suppliers of these services in order to protect public health, goods and the environment.

This legislation, also valid in Italy, requires the companies involved to have adequate skills and a high professional level on the part of all the staff involved to guarantee results, quality and safety and includes the management and control of infestations, but also the evaluation, recommendations and the subsequent execution of the defined control and prevention procedures.

It is an important rule that takes into consideration all aspects and phases of service delivery starting from the initial consultancy to the customer and the estimate, passing through the design of the service delivery method and its actual development and arriving at the evaluation of the effectiveness of the interventions and, if necessary, the recalibration of the service.
