In agricultural and livestock applications there is a great need to provide a controlled climatic environment. As for heating, this often translates into the need to provide hot and clean air, that is, free of impurities such as pollutants, water vapor and carbon dioxide.

For this type of needs, we have developed the CH model, an indirect combustion hot air generator, available in diesel, LPG or methane versions.

CH - HANGING HOT AIR GENERATOR WITH LARGE FLOW INDIRECT COMBUSTION

Indirect combustion means that the machine is supplied with a closed chamber inside which combustion takes place. The gases produced by combustion (pollutants, carbon dioxide and water vapor) are then evacuated outside the system through a flue and do not contaminate the air to be heated.

The CH model for professional heating in the agricultural, poultry, pig and greenhouse sectors guarantees a series of advantages that make this generator unique in its field of application.

The choice of materials and components was guided by the awareness of wanting to create a hot air generator capable of operating in severe and heavy working conditions.

The body is self-supporting in galvanized and painted steel. The combustion chamber and the heat exchanger are made of stainless steel to resist humidity. The generator can be supported or suspended. The feet can be forked by a forklift, so as to simplify the work of installing and removing the generator from the system.

The suspension rings are fixed to the self-supporting body, so as not to provide unnecessary stress to the combustion chamber. The air outlet of the generator is available with a diameter of 500mm and 600mm to better adapt to the applications and needs of the market.

The CH hot air generator is designed to use an external burner

This choice allows you to easily change the type of fuel used, simply by replacing the burner. The burner was specially customized by Riello for Biemmedue so as to allow easy connection of the snorkel tube and ensure excellent combustion quality, even in very dusty workplaces or with low oxygen levels.

The snorkel tube allows the burner to use the outside air for combustion. This solution has two main advantages:

• The quality of the air inside the system does not affect the quality or efficiency of combustion

• The generator does not lower the oxygen level of the air in the system during operation

The considerable size of the combustion chamber and the innovative design of the heat exchanger allow to reach efficiencies of over 90%.

At the rear, the CH is supplied with a high efficiency motor-fan unit that provides a higher air flow than similar fans, including centrifugal ones currently on the market. This results in a greater heat distribution capacity within the system.

Furthermore, the static pressure generated by the motor-fan unit is able to make the CH work with plastic sheaths up to 130 meters in length.

The CH was designed so that Ventilation and Combustion act independently of each other.

This means that, upon ignition, when the combustion chamber is still cold, the Ventilation is stopped to avoid blowing cold air inside the system. Ventilation starts automatically when the combustion chamber temperature reaches 30C. If the temperature of the combustion chamber reaches a temperature above 60C, the Combustion stops while the Ventilation continues to cool the chamber.

The independence between ventilation and combustion therefore favors the reliability of the machine even in extreme working conditions.

For the sole purpose of complying with the safety regulations in force, a third thermostat stops the machine if the combustion chamber temperature exceeds 90C.

The CH generator can operate manually or automatically.

In the second case, the main electrical box is equipped with an integrated 5-pole socket to allow easy connection of the generator to an external thermostat or climate computer. The generator is available in one-phase and three-phase versions; 135 and 160 kW. Diesel or gas. 50 or 60Hz.
