CHOOSE THE RIGHT HOT AIR GENERATOR FOR YOUR BUSINESS

BIEMMEDUE HOT AIR GENERATORS

Guide to choosing the best machines

We are in the middle of summer, but professionals and companies have to deal with the coming autumn and winter in order not to arrive unprepared when temperatures start to drop. For this BIEMMEDUE offers you a guide to choosing the best hot air generator for your business.

Hot air generators are professional machines that, through combustion, produce the heat necessary to heat spaces and environments that require heat, especially in the colder winter months, where traditional heating systems are not enough or not enough. They are ideal for quickly heating any room even in extreme cold situations.

With the BM2 hot air generators it is possible to dry, heat and defrost.

Hot air generators can be direct or indirect combustion.

Direct combustion hot air generators

In direct combustion hot air generators, a powerful fan is used to force the air through the combustion chamber where the burner is located. With the passage of air through the burner, the heat produced by the combustion process is transferred to the air flow ensuring 100% thermal efficiency. Biemmedue direct combustion hot air generators are products for high performance heating, which provide an enormous amount of hot air wherever it is needed. They work perfectly in well-ventilated rooms such as factories, warehouses or construction sites.

Indirect combustion hot air generators

In indirect combustion hot air generators a powerful fan forces the air through the heat exchanger: the burner is located inside the heat exchanger and heats the internal surface of the latter. As the air passes over the external wall of the heat exchanger, the heat produced is transferred to the air flow. The heat exchanger in indirect combustion hot air generators is equipped with a chimney that allows the expulsion of combustion gases to the outside. In this way, no combustion gases are released into the air stream leaving the generator. The combustion chamber is designed to be very efficient: up to 88.5% of the heat produced by the combustion process is transferred to the air flow.

The hot air generators are available with diesel, LPG, methane and electricity supply

Diesel hot air generators can be direct combustion and indirect combustion.

The former have a thermal efficiency equal to 100% and do not require any type of installation but, as they do not have a smoke evacuation chimney, they cannot be used indoors, but only in well-ventilated rooms or in open spaces. They are the perfect partner in construction, agriculture, farms and are the ideal solution for drying, drying, thawing and heating.

The latter, on the other hand, are equipped with a chimney that can be connected to the outside for the evacuation of combustion fumes. For this, they can also be used indoors. Their efficiency, due to the heat that inevitably disperses through the chimney, is around 90%.

The LPG gas-fired hot air generators are equipped with an integrated direct combustion burner and are not suitable for use indoors, but only in well-ventilated rooms or in open spaces.

Finally, electric hot air generators are ideal devices for heating environments in which the use of gas or diesel powered appliances is not allowed. They are easy to use and perfect for temporary or emergency use. They are very useful when you need to quickly heat up an environment.

What to consider when choosing the model

Choosing which is the right model of the hot air generator is not so trivial, as it is essential to know how to correctly calculate the necessary which vary depending on

  • of the volume, calculated in m³ of the space to be heated

  • the difference between the internal temperature to be obtained and the lower external temperature

  • of the coefficient relating to the material, with which the walls and roof of the room to be heated are built

All Biemmedue hot air generators are controlled and comply with very high safety standards: in fact, the hot air generators, both base and suspended, are subject, from the design phase to production and commissioning, to rigorous European standards. and to strict tests. This guarantees their absolute safety and functionality.
