The history of Biemmedue, the leader in the sectors of professional Heating, industrial Cleaning, and Dehumidifying, is closely tied to Cherasco, the city in Piemonte not far from Cuneo, Turin and Milan.

In fact, Cherasco, the site at which the Costamagna family, owners of BM2, founded a production facility, during the years has gained a solid and ever-increasing importance not only on the national level, but throughout the world, becoming a focal point synonymous with professional products of the highest quality in the fields of heating, cleaning and dehumidifying.

Marco Costamagna, the C.E.O. of Biemmedue, the recently elected President of the Regional Board of Confindustria of Cueno (Association of Industrialists) in the section of Mechanical Industry, for the years 2017 – 2019 (click here for the news release), has always chosen this area of Piemonte to bring to life the productive structure of Biemmedue, constructing an area of 25000 m2 in which Arcotherm brand warm air generators – the traditional core business of the company – and Arcodry brand professional dehumidifiers are designed and produced.

With the constant growth in production and with the acquisition of new markets, Biemmedue continues to focus its industrial development on Cherasco: in fact, in early 2018, a new production plant dedicated to the Arcomat brand will be inaugurated, for the design and production of machines for professional cleaning, namely pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, sweepers, floor machines.

A significant investment for the expansion and development of the Arcomat line, to best satisfy the needs and requests of the new Companies acquired by Biemmedue during the last few years: first, in 2005 Batclean srl of Portogruaro (VE), specialized in the production and design of pressure washers and sweepers, and then in 2013 SOLO srl of Codogno (LO), specialized in vacuum cleaners and floor machines.

The goal is to create a complete offer in the sector of professional industrial cleaning, a sector with a great growth potential, particularly in export. The new plant, of about 6000 m2, will integrate in Cherasco, all the functions of direction, administration, production and sales, thereby benefitting from immediate solutions with regards to space, logistics and organization.

During these last few months of 2017, Biemmedue is working on the adaptation of the plant for the needs of production, the installation of assembly lines, stock warehouses, etc… all of which will be concluded by the end of the year, in order to be production-ready in early 2018, for a total investment, not including real-estate costs, quantified at approximately € 2,000,000.

Therefore, great news also with regards to labor and employment for the city of Cherasco: the new Biemmedue project will have great repercussions for labor: To the current 110 employees present at Cherasco, the new BM2 production facility will add 40 new employment opportunities in design, production and logistics.

Therefore Biemmedue follows the path of production 100% made in Italy, focusing on its own territory and its own force of production, to best compete in international markets. Furthermore; focusing on research and development, for which a special space is dedicated in the new plant, BM2 continues to remain at the avantgarde of new, more innovative technical solutions and in the use of modern prototyping technologies, of testing and of development.

Biemmedue thus continues its growth, always remaining strongly tied to the Territory of origin in Piemonte and more specifically, that of the Langhe and Roero, which it has chosen for its focal point of production, and to potentiate its development with a new plant which will take this Leading Company in the sectors of heating, cleaning and dehumidifying to further grow and develop the path of development which will allow it to keep up with the times and to confirm itself more and more as a reference point in Italian and international markets.

These are the reasons which today make Biemmedue one of the most important realities on the international level, for the production of equipment at the service of companies.
